MELBOURNE, FL - Representative Mitch Needelman (R-Melbourne) and his wife, Joan will host their annual “Children’s Holiday Magic” party for needy families at noon Saturday, Dec. 17 at St. Joseph's Catholic School, 5320 Babcock St., Palm Bay.
The party is held in conjunction with St. Joseph students, who used the occasion as a class project. This is the 17th year Joan has been hosting this event and the 9th year Rep. Needelman has been involved.
For the past month the Needelmans have collected donations of toys, games and puzzles and have tried to answer the wishes of children from needy families. The parents will be given the gifts to put under their tree to brighten their Christmas Season. Face painting, clowns and other fun activities will be staged. Pizza, cookies and other holiday confections will be served. Santa Claus also will make an appearance.
In addition to gifts for children the parents will be presented with gift certificates to Publix.
